<p>It is very thorough and chalk full of information on dust control for your workshop.  It explains everything from the different types of dust, to health hazards, to strategies of dust control.  It will tell you about respiratory masks and ventilation, and it has a number of chapters dedicated solely to dust collector systems as well as hoods and other devices.</p>
<p>This is a very important factor in most shops, but if you have or are thinking about getting a <strong><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://thicknessplaner.org/goto/_thickness_planer/146/2"><!--cloak--> thickness planer</a></strong> , this is something you really need to consider.  With out a good control system, you will be standing up to your eyeballs in shavings!</p>
<p>Keep your wood shop free and clear of debris and shavings for safety, keeping your tools in proper condition and to prevent damage to your projects.  A stray wood chip can damage a blade or mar your project stock as it is being tooled.</p>
